It's Saturday evening and we are stuck in New York.

It's been a rough day of travel. Despite our hopes, there was no way we could make the flight on Friday, so we changed our tickets to a Saturday departure. We stayed at the Sheremetyevo Hotel which was actually very nice. We had been warned it was low-end (even though it cost $268/night) but we were pleased to find out they recently upgraded the hotel. It sits across from the Novatel, so we walked over there for lunch Friday afternoon. We ate at a Tex-Mex restaurant and I ordered a cheese burger and french fries. Please look closely at the plate of food (not Pam) and you will see an egg in the middle of my sandwich. I know the egg was not mentioned in the menu, and we are not quite sure why it was included.

We left the Hotel around 9 AM Moscow time and have been in airports since. Our flight from Moscow was late leaving and then we took a long time to get to JFK. We were afraid we missed our flight to Phoenix, but the Phoenix flight was delayed. So we now sit and they say it will be another hour or more before we leave for Phoenix. We won't get in to Phoenix until after midnight. But I am waking Ben up! We have missed him so much.

I believe we still owe you all a picture of Libby. Libby was very quick to smile and we have lots of pictures of her playing with Mama and Papa. She enjoyed the attention and did not want to leave us when the time was up. She will be fun to travel with.
