A few more things to tell you.
We are very excited that Abby is almost completely potty trained. A few M-n-M's and she has it down. I have not had to worry with a dirty diaper in a week. I am going to enjoy the next few months because I know when the baby comes, we will have lots more diapers to deal with!
Speaking of the coming baby. We have told the kids that Mama has a baby in her tummy. They are very intrigued by this, especially Ben. Ben likes to come up and yell at my tummy. Poor kid is already being picked on by his/her older brother.
The other day Ben asked me if I had a baby in my tummy. I said I did. He then asked if I ate the baby. I said no, so he asked how the baby got into my tummy. I wasn't sure what to say at that point, so I gracefully changed the subject.
Libby keeps asking if the baby is eating. Every time I eat, she asks if the baby is eating. Then when I am not eating, she asks if the baby is hungry. Once she mentions it, I find that I am hungry. :)
We mentioned that Ben has H Pylori. We have tried to explain to him about good bacteria and bad bacteria living in his stomach. He knows he is taking medicine to get rid of the bad bacteria and is drinking and eating special yogurts to put good bacteria in his tummy. I made the mistake of calling the bacteria "tine bugs" at first. Now he tells everyone he sees that he has tiny bugs living in his tummy. He then lifts up his shirt to show the tiny bugs. And Mama's baby living in Mama's tummy is similar in his mind to the tiny bugs living in his. Oh my, what confused children we have. Hopefully it will all make sense in about 6 months.
