It has been awhile since my last post because we have all been busy. Benjamin is doing great! We had our first visit from the social worker for post-placement reports. She was so impressed with how well Benjamin is adjusting. Benjamin's vocabulary continues to improve. His recent word is "ow" and with every bump or bruise, he comes running to us, pointing to the area, saying "ow?". He then waits for us to either kiss it or tell him he is okay, then he is off again.
Brian has been taking him to the play area at the mall. He loves it! He gets to be around other kids and he gets to put on a show for the adults. He is such the charmer, waving, smiling and dancing around the play area.
