The Holidays are here! It has been awhile since we have posted as life has seemed a bit busy. Benjamin enjoyed his first Thanksgiving. He ate pickles and mashed potatoes. He refused to try anything else, but that is not unusual. His eating habits have become very picky. He would live on apples, rasins and boiled eggs if we let him. We spent out Thanksgiving Holiday at Melanie and Logan's home. Melanie had decorated the table beautifully. We shared the cooking duties, so neither of us was too overwhelmed.
Benajamin helped Santa this week. My work collected toys for the local Ronald McDonald House. We delivered the toys to the house on Wednesday night. Benjamin was Santa's elf and he helped pass out toys to some pretty sick kids. He is such an out-going kid, it was the perfect job for him. He helped the scared kids warm up to Santa.
It has cooled down here in AZ so Ben is finally wearing winter clothes. He looks so cute in his sweats and turtlenecks. He caught his first cold this week. He had difficulty sleeping the other night and just cried this miserable, "I don't feel good" cry till midnight. We tried to comfort him, but I think the medicine we gave him kept him awake. He finally fell asleep when the medicine wore off.
As the Holidays grow closer, we are excited to see Ben's reaction to the decorations and such of the season. He likes the blow-up snowmen and Santas at Lowes. We plan to get our tree in a week, so it will be fun to see his reaction to that.
