Yesterday was Ben's 3rd birthday! He is growing up so fast. We celebrated last night with a party with family. Benjamin did not want to blow out his candle. He didn't want to get too close to the fire (we've trained him well), so he kept leaning back. Finally he started spitting at it (Papa told him to). So Mama jumped in and helped. Despite the struggle to blow out the candle, he enjoyed his cheesecake.

We had a birthday party for him at the park on Saturday with several of his friends. He spent most of his time playing with the radio we had brought. He may have a future as a DJ or a musician or a dancer. He just loves music, okay, noise in general!

The birthday party theme was Elmo. Elmo is still on Benjamin's favorite characters. He enjoyed a cupcake - only eating the icing off the top.

He played a few games and crawled around in the tunnels we had brought. He even had a chance to swing at the pinata.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our little blessing.
