We had a wonderful Christmas! Papa picked out a beautiful tree and Ben and Mama decorated it. When anyone asked Ben what he got from Santa, he answered "a tree". I guess the tree was impressive to him.

On Christmas Eve we went to Melanie and Logan's house and enjoyed time with family. On the way home, we told Ben we had to go homa and get ready becuase Santa is coming. Ben replied, "Jesus is coming?" There seems to be some confusion over Santa and Baby Jesus. We have told him the Christmas story over and over and now anytime he sees a baby on TV or in a book, he says, "Baby Jesus". We haven't talked about Santa much and didn't even take him to see Santa this year (where did the time go). So, I understand his confusion. We have explained that Santa brings presents as a way of celebrating Jesus' birthday.

On Christmas morning, we expected Ben to come crawl in bed with us without noticing the new items left by Santa. Instead, we were awakened by little car sirens and knew Ben had discovered the new bridge and a few new cars for his GeoTrax.

Once we discovered it was l=already almost 7:00 AM, we all got up and joined him in th eliving room. With Mama and Papa's help, we showed him another gift left by Santa.

Ben received a Fisher Price Star Station which allows him to perform and see himself on TV. He loves to sing and dance, so it seemed like a good present. He enjoys watching himself. Mama and Papa gave him a radio with a microphone that plays a few Backyardigan tunes. It was a big hit for both him and Lilly. The songs are a bit annoying, but Mama and Papa are learning to tune them out. :)

Ben received a remote control car from Grandpa and Lois.

He quickly learned how to move the car around and had a great time. That toy was the biggest hit for the older boys too. Papa, Logan and Chris all played with the R/C car throughout the day.

Logan, Melanie, Lilly and Chris (a friend of Logan's) joined us for Christmas dinner. It was a bit chaotic as Ben and Lilly opened and played with their new toys, but we had a great time!

Christmas is such a great time to spend with family and friends.

Hello Brian, Pam and Benjamin,

Do you have any new information on when you will get to travel and see the girls?
Know you are anxious to get there and see the girls.

Take care.
