We still have no confirmed travel dates, but expect to head to Russia in the middle of February. I will let you all know as soon as we have definite dates! In the meantime, we are getting the room ready for the girls. We started by painting it pink.

We then decided to paint one wall purple and we painted the closet doors light orange. We plan to paint pink and purple flowers on the closet doors. It is definitely "girly". Although pink is Ben's favorite color and he has watched with fascination as we have worked on the room. He has even tried to offer up his Handyman services.

While we were working, Ben pulled out his tools and offered to help us with the work. We tried to find something for him to do to help us. Last weekend we painted the furniture that goes into the room. Ben tried to help. We were watching him closely, and I did not see him anywhere near the paint, but he still ended up with white paint on his cute T-shirt and all over his arms. Boy he moves fast.

The room is still in transition, but it is getting closer.

While working on the girls' room, we also rearranged Ben's room a bit. For those of you who have followed the blog, you know Ben has a habit of "camping out", or going to sleep on the floor by the door rather than in bed. We thought that if we moved his bed to where he can see out the door, he would no longer be interested in going to sleep on the floor. WRONG! Here's a picture from tonight. I tucked him into his bed, but when I went in to check on him, he had moved to the floor (right by his bed) and fell asleep there.

Now I need to go pick him up and put him back into bed.

Looks like you are getting things ready for those girls. Can't wait to see them. Bet that Ben will have an adjustment. I know he will be a good brother though.
