Last night we took Ben to a Russian Folk concert. A local church here in Tucson invited this group of young people from St. Petersburg. They are called Golden Gates and the are touring the US to raise money for Russian orphanages. Check out their website at http://www.russianfolk.com/golden_gates/golden_gates.html. We had a great time and Ben loved the music and the dancing. The boy dancers did lots of jumping, which impressed Ben. There were two balalaika players. One of the balalaika's was VERY big and looked like a "Big Guitar" to Ben. He had to check it out at the end.

Today, Lilly is staying with us. So Ben has been showing her a few of the dance moves he learned last night.
Funny story...
As you know, we have been talking a lot about Ben's two sisters that are coming. He has not seemed to understand the concept as far as we can tell. Well yesterday while at Melanie's, he and Lilly were playing and fighting. Melanie turned to them and said, "You two fight like brothers and sisters." Ben immediately responded, "Two sisters!" I guess he is understanding more than we thought. :)

I should have looked at your blog sooner! The same group came to NC right after they left AZ!!! I checked their web site. On the 13th, they performed one mile from our house!! Oh well.... ;)
