Grandma Lu sent gifts for the kids. They opened them today along with the kids she made them. The cards were a huge hit. They each carried around their card for the rest of the evening. Ben took his out to show Papa the picture of Grandma Lu and Grandpa. 
Ben received a lion that had belonged to Grandpa. The lion has a tag with Ben's name. Ben is able to recognize his name, so the tag was a big deal to him. Libby and Abby received rag dolls with their names embroidered on the skirt. Each doll is dressed a little differently. They are adorable. Libby was very excited about her kookla (that's Russian for doll).

You will be glad to know that Grandma Lu has the girls with their dolls and Ben with his lion posted on her bulletin board at Living Community Care Center. Sarretta has run the pictures off so mom could see then and share them with the visitors. Mom has made notes that explains all about Ben and the girls so people can read them. You know how proud mom is in regards to her family.
