Christmas Sunday

We dressed the kids up for church today and tried to get some pictures. Here's a loving and happy shot of all three by the Christmas tree. For the most part, they did great having a bunch of pictures taken, but...

It did suddenly go down hill. Here, Libby is kissing Ben. But I believe Abby thinks she is being choked.Abby seems a bit whiny about her neck and suddenly, Ben is not happy. I'm not sure what was really going on, but continue through the play-by-play.Not sure if Ben said something to Libby, but suddenly Libby is not happy. Abby is still whining about her neck.
And the next thing we know, Ben pushes Libby to the ground.
Merry Christmas!
Mama and Papa were able to salvage the situation and get a few more good shots. Here's Papa and his little elves.

And here's Mama, her little elves and her big belly. It's a little tough to sit politely right now.

Today's church service was a musical program put on by the Children's Choir. The kids did great. Before the official program, the 2's-5's got up and sang a song while jingling bells. Libby and Abby sang out pretty well. Ben had stage fright and did not participate. :(
This evening, we returned to church for the Winter Wonderland. There were lots of different activities set up around the church. Our kids wanted to make gingerbread houses first. They had a great time, but ate more candy and icing than they put on the houses themselves. There are no pictures as Mama and Papa were also pretty much covered in icing!

We also decorated a birthday care for Jesus. Ben lost interest, but Abby and Libby took the cake decorating pretty seriously. As you can see, there is still a lot of licking going on.
After the messy stuff, we went for a wagon ride around the church. The kids loved the wagon and ended up riding over and over again.Ben hitched a ride with Aunt Melanie. And at some point, he ended up out front with the reins. The girls also got a chance up front, but that picture did not come out.
After the Winter Wonderland, we returned home, put on our pajamas and watched Santa Clause is Coming to Town. The kids curled up on their bean bag chairs and enjoyed popcorn with the movie. There is no school tomorrow, so we let the kids stay up late. Gotta love the Holidays!

Your pictures make me feel all warm and fuzzy. I sure could use some children in my life right now so wish I was there. I'm always thinking of you and praying for you. I'm looking forward to our new little one to enter this world. Love you guys
