Gotcha Day
Two years ago we were in Volgograd, anxiously awaiting our drive to the orphanage to pick up our amazing son. The judge ruled on June 23, making Benjamin our son. But we had to wait until June 26 to go to the orphanage and pick him up. It seems like a lifetime ago. Ben just fits into our home and it feels like he has always been here. At the same time, it seems like just yesterday. I remember going to the orphange and picking him up. Here's a few pictures from that day 2 years ago.

To celebrate, we took Ben to a Go Fish concert. Go Fish is one of his favorite groups. He loves to listen, dance and sing to their CD's. He was a bit overwhelmed at the concert. By the last few songs he started dancing and joining in. I think the combination of the music, guys on stage and the fancy lights, he was too mesmerized to truly enjoy the concert. Mama and Papa had fun!
When we came home, Ben walked into the living room to find a present to celebrate Gatch Day.

Thanks for the posts Pam and Brian. It just makes our hearts so happy to see a glimpse of Ben growing up. I'm sure time goes so slowly while waiting for his sisters to come home. One more month and they should be nearly there. God speed. Love you
