Benjamin is using more and more words we can recognize. It is exciting to hear him learning. He has known the sign for "please", but today he added the word "peeeezzzzz" with the sign. I think he likes the "zzzz" sound. Tonight, while getting him ready for bed, I was singing the "la la la la" from Elmo's World, and he filled in the "Elmo's world" part of the song. Ben is micmicing so much of what Brian and I do from sighing to blinking. We were singing "Lord I Lift Your Name on High" and doing the motions. Ben followed suit and did the motions from lifting his hands above his head to making a cross with his fingers.

I am constantly amazed at how well Ben is fitting into our family. Last night he was picking up his toys with a smile on his face. As I watched him I got tears of joy in my eyes. After waiting so long for Ben to be a part of our home, I am just in awe of how it has all come together.
