Our days are full of gigles around here. Ben just keeps getting cuter and cuter. He has become very talkative with lots of jabbers and giggles as he runs around the house. He has discovered some news toys over the last two days. His favorite is a little microwave Melanie and Logan got him. He loves to push the buttons and here the timer go off. The first thing he does after eating, or after nap is to run to his microwave and push the buttons. He also discovered a musical tool bench that either makes noise, or counts when the "nails" are "hammered". Again, he loves the sounds and even does a little dance when the music plays. He is so much fun to watch. Even just now, I smiled at him as he was playing and he grinned very big and started giggling. What a blessing that sound is! Brian is going to go paint tonight, so this will be my first evening solo. I had a work meeting this morning, so Brian had morning duty solo, including breakfast and several diaper changes. Brian did a great job. The minute I got home, Ben came running to me and gave me some "loves". He then decided to try on my shoes!

The last two evenings, we have taken him for a walk. We discovered a playground within walking disatnce, so Ben got to play on the swing and climb through the tunnel. He went down the slide on Daddy's lap.

He continues to learn more and more English. He knows "no", "don't throw", "loves", "kisses" and "do you want more". He says "hello", "all done", "ta da", "Momma", "Papa" and "peek a boo". He has to be coached a little to say those words, but he is learning. We have been teaching him a bit of sign language to help him communicate. He signs "please" and "more". He has also quickly learned that we hold hands and pray before each meal. He waits, then takes our hands and bows his head. I don't think he can close his eyes for that long, afraid he may fall asleep!
