More information...

We visited Libby this morning. She saw us from across the camp and hollered, "Mama e Papa". I think she was happy to see us. We played for awhile. She is definately potty trained as she told us twice that she had to go potty. She will be helping her brother catch up.

After visiting Libby, we went back to the hotel to get cleaned up for court. Court started at 2 and was finished by 5. Brian spoke first and gave his testimony. Then he was questioned by the judge, the prosecutor and the social teachers. There were 4 social teachers, 1 from each orphanage, representing the orphanage and 1 from each city custody and guardianship office, representing each girl. The prosecutor only asked a few questions of Brian. Then I spoke and basically said I really want to be their Mama. The judge had a few questions for me, but the prosecutor and social teachers had none. Then we went through all of the documents from our dossier and then all of the data on each girl. Finally, each person made their recomendation. The prosecutor and each social teacher recommend that we be granted the adoption. The judge then went into private chambers for about 5 minutes and came back to read her decision. We were granted our petition, named as their parents and their names are now officially Abigail Freemand and Liberty Freeman.

After court, we visited Abby for a little bit. It was better. She can turn the tears on and off very easily. After the visit, Melanie, Ben, Papa and Mama all went to an Italian restaurant to celebrate. We had pizza, lasagna, Pepsi and vanilla milkshakes.

Now it is almost time for bed. We are going to curl up in bed and watch a movie for a little bit.
