We had a fantastic day.

We all (Melanie and Ben included) drove out to the camp. Rather than staying there for a few hours, we got to bring Libby back with us for the whole day! Libby and Ben met and then we headed out. We went straight to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream.

After ice cream, we went to a souvenir shop. We found a nice carved wooden rocking horse to bring home for Abby. It will be her special item from Tomsk. We also bought some beautiful hand carved brushes for the girls. Melanie bought some souvenirs, but I can't tell you what they are because the recipients may read this blog.

After shopping, we cam back to the hotel to play for a short time. It was close to nap time, so Mama laid down with both Ben and Libby on the bed. They both fell asleep pretty quick and slept for 2.5 hours. Mama, Papa and Melanie also slept. After our naps we went downstairs for dinner. Libby had chicken soup and Ben had an omelet. Papa enjoyed helping his little girl eat dinner. Ben and Libby are already fighting. They fight over toys and both strive for our attention. Just like a normal brother and sister. We wouldn't expect anything different.

After playing in the room for a few minutes, Leo came and picked us up and took us to the Memorial Park. We enjoyed the view of the river. Ben ran around in the grass and chased birds. Libby enjoyed being carried around and laughed at her big brother. We had to take her back to the camp at 6:30. It was sad to see her go. We had a wonderful day together.

"Papa enjoyed helping his little girl eat dinner". What a wonderful concept that is! As I watch this progression to a family of 5 I'm so amazed at how much God loves us. Take care, all of you!

Pam and Brian as you know I am way behind on making commnets to your postings. Believe me we have looked and read everyone of them and am so excited for you guys. Looks like Libby is going to make sure she fits right in with the family. What a nice smile. Ben will be a big help to her in adjusting to all her new surroundings. Looking forward to hearing more about Abby.

I just LOVE the picture of Libby & Ben, talk about double trouble! (ha ha just kidding) Too cute. I'm so excited for you all and love all the pictures. They will soon settle into their new life and it's great how much Ben seems to enjoy the girls.
Looking forward to more updates!
