Yesterday I had a minor bout of something like morning sickness. Let me say, I know how incredibly lucky I am that I have not really experienced morning sickness and even yesterday's little attack was minor. But it was funny...

I started feeling very queasy and hot so I took off my shirt and went to lay down on the couch. Within a few short minutes, Dr Ben came over and announced I needed to go to the hospital. He then stuck a plastic toy in my mouth to get my temperature and grabbed an mini Etch-a-Sketch and started making beeping sounds. "beep...beep...beep". I told Brian it sounded like my heart was steady, but I was a little worried about the line on the Etch-a-Sketch. Brian assured me he was making peaks and valleys, not a straight line. Dr. Ben then went to the kitchen, got me some saltines and started feeding me. It was all very sweet and cute. He's only been to the hospital one time to visit Libby, but I guess the monitors and such really captured his attention.

One more Ben story...
This morning, he was keeping Papa busy with twenty questions. Most of his questions were about Spiderman (he really likes Spiderman). Brian tried to explain that Spiderman is not real. Anyway, in the midst of all these questions, he asked if Spiderman has a girlfriend and then he wanted to know what Spiderman and his girlfriend do together. We did not know he knew the word girlfriend. Ahhh! He is growing up.
